Can I change Japanese yen to British pounds?
yenは常に単数ですが、pound,dollerには複数のsが付きます。
チップ用の小銭が欲しい場合、Can I have some coins, please.

ホテルを予約してない場合、空港のインフォメーションに聞くといいかも知れません。
I need a hotel room, please.B&Bのように安いホテルがいい場合、I need a cheap hotel room.でいいですが、具体的に two-star hotelと言う方が早いと思います。
What area are you staying in?と聞かれた場合、具体的なエリアを答えてもいいですが、
わからない場合、I want to go sightseeing. What area do you recommend?と聞き返したり、I want to stay near lots of restaurants.のように答える場合もあります。
二人別の部屋に泊まる場合、I need two single rooms,please. 値段を聞く場合、
How much is a single room for one night?(per nightでもOK)となります。

ホテルが決まったら、How can I get there?と聞きましょう。
You can take the tube.（イギリスでは地下鉄をtubeまたはundergroundと言いますが、
アメリカでundergroundは地下を示し、米語では地下鉄のことをsubwayと言います）とか、
You can take a taxi.と言われます。タクシーに乗るほどお金の無い場合、
A taxi is too expensive for me. Is there another way to get there?と言います。
