19:00~19:50 2 students
20:00~20:50 4 students
Hello! Today was my third time teaching the BF class, and I think I'm starting to get the hang of it :)
The first hour of class today started off with each of us talking about what we had done since the last class. We talked a lot about father-son activities that were very heartwarming to hear :)♡ Then we moved onto discussion about some recent news stories that I had found interesting. The first article that caught my eye was about a new decision made by the Japanese bureau which changed the language used in meetings from Japanese to English. We talked about whether this is a smart choice, and we also touched on what kind of English education system would be ideal for Japan. Then, we moved on to talk about irezumi culture in Japan. Irezumi was originally banished from Japanese society to protect it from the rapid westernization of Japan. After learning this new piece of information, we discussed on whether irezumi culture may make a comeback in the future.
Today we had some very heated debating, so it was exciting and energetic lesson :)!
Hope to see you all again next week!
